Pre-order What You Might Not Know

May has been absolutely (you guessed it!) LEGENDARY!  And we’re only half way through!  The first weekend in May, my sister, Sara, married Noah.   Their wedding was pure joy!  I was so thrilled to be her maid of honor.  Another bucket list item checked off!  A year ago, when Corbin was getting ready for kindergarten, someone asked me my next goal.  I said, “Hmmm, to see who gets married first, Sara (my sister) or Ashley (my bff).”  At the time, both were completely single.  But, in God’s miraculous plan, Sara met Noah, her perfect match.  I made the goal jokingly, but I am elated that I was able to be part of her special day and thrilled to have another great addition to our family! I barely had time to recover from all the wedding festivities before Corbin and I headed off on our 5th (!) annual Mother’s Day amusement park trip.  This year, we headed to Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park and Kings Island in Ohio.  Corbin and I spent two days at the indoor water park, then a day at Kings Island.  He is a complete adrenaline junkie and after each roller coaster he would scream, “That was AWESOME!!!”   Thankfully my back tolerated the rides and although waiting in line tested his patience, it gave me a chance to rest and keep up my stamina.  Making our best roller coaster faces, below. Coasters!

Now on the second half of May with the book release weekend and a scan.  To you, my loyal friends, faithful prayer warriors, and readers, I offer a chance to advance order my new book What You Might Not Know: My Life as a Stage IV Cancer Patient.  If you are in the Champaign area, I’d love to have you at one of the book release parties.  They are very informal; just stop by the one best fits your schedule (see the poster below).  If you aren’t in the Champaign area and would like to order a book, the details are also below.  In a book group?  Consider making it your next read, and I’ll even include some discussion questions.  The first 200 to order will include a special book mark.
