My celebration runneth over!

W.o.w.  I’m truly blown away at the utterly amazing birth MONTH that just happened…and kept happening and happening so it ran in to the first week of April!  There were amazing memories that were created in the last several weeks.  Many of you were very, very sneaky and it seemed like there was a new surprise every day.  It truly was LEGENDARY!!!  I wish I had the creative energy to put together a slide show of all the incredible things that happened, but I’ve been too busy living life.  I’ll give you one picture though…each day my parents emailed me with a picture and story from growing up.  The picture I’ve posted is of me in kindergarten, so about the same age as Corbin.  I think you can see some similarities.  😉

Tomorrow, I’m honored to be part of a panel at the UI Cancer Symposium.   I’m able to attend the two day session, and although I’m sure 90% of it will be over my head, I think it will be worth my time.  As my dad wisely said, “It’s one thing to study cancer in a laboratory; it’s another to live with it.”

A huge thank you to all who supported my book sale/signing at church.  I’m excited to announce that with total sales and extra donations from the congregation, $700 will be donated to ASP from the sales of my book “Learning to Live Legendary.  It was such a powerful and humbling experience and I’m so thankful to be part of such an amazing church!

Up next, scans, on Friday the 13th (I can only hope that only good news can come from that day).  As always, I’ll keep you posted.
